1. Cute!
Just an FYI: cat shows are usually a GREAT place to find kitties to adopt. Often there are several private rescue groups, the SPCA, and a number of breed rescue groups with plenty of animals to choose from attending the show. If you have always wanted to adopt a Maine Coon, Bombay or Somali, check out a cat show!

2. Bullshit - no cat is a republican
they're far too independent for that. Gotta be dems.

Take it from somebody who shares his home with five of them.

4. Yep. Plus, cat people tend to be cool and liberal. That woman with the grey cat is an oddity.
Poor kitty. He doesn't deserve to represent John McCain. :(

Cat championship include Obama, McCain - the cats

NEW YORK – Barack Obama and John McCain will attend a New York cat show this weekend — Obama the Bombay cat and McCain the American Shorthair, that is.

The two felines are vying for the title of "Purr-fect President" at the Cat Fanciers' Association-IAMS 2008 championship that opens Saturday at Madison Square Garden.

More than 40 breeds are represented among the several hundred competing animals. The top title goes for "Best in Show."

In addition, hundreds of other kittens and cats will be available for adoption.

11. Meeeoww! Such handsome cats...
The Bombay definitely has a similar noble visionary look that I've seen on Obama's face... well except in the picture with their owners... with the look on cat Obama's face and the ears like they are that cat doesn't look nearly as comfortable near McCain as the real Obama does near the real McCain. :D

As for "McCain" sorry but that British SH is waaaaay to good looking to represent McCain. :)
