1. Did anybody hear what the the great evangelical preacher, Rev. Whoever, said last Sunday? |
|
The congregation was fired up and shouted, "Amen! Preach it brother!" in agreement. No, I don't suppose many here know about what Rev. Whoever said last Sunday because not many outside of the evangelical circle does know.
As great as KO is, as on the mark we see him to be, he is preaching to the choir because not many outside of his circle pay attention to what he says. He is preaching to the choir. Just as we tend to disregard what happens in evangelical circles, those outside of KO's circle don't pay much attention to him in spite of how much we get fired up about what he says.

I have mentioned Colin Powell's endorsement to three people. Response: "Colin Powell endorsed Obama?" For those of us paying attention, it can be astounding how much the rest of the country doesn't know.
Nonetheless, I am happy to be in Keith's choir section.

3. You're right about Powell, but for the average voter his endorsement of Obama didn't have much legs. |
|
I didn't hear much about it for more than a day later and your average low information voter will forget something quickly if they ever knew it at all. It would be way different if Powell's endorsement was in Obama ads because then everybody and their brother would know about it.
