It is the tone deafness not the wardrobe |
|
The hypocisy is a Walmart Mom shopping at Saks and Nieman's. I understand the need to make her look the VP part butit sgow a certain tone deafness when it comes to the campaign's choices in terms of the bill and the image, I mean we are talking like $2,000 a day on clothes.

1. I can't imagine what you can buy with that kind of money... |

...any mother of five would rather pay down her mortgage with $150,000 than buy clothes.

...for a fraction of that price. I bought two outfits last year for a friend's wedding because I couldn't decide what to wear. The more expensive piece was in a Saks/Neiman's price range, and the other one came from Dillard's. The less expensive (and we're talking an EIGHTH of the price here) outfit looked equally as well-made and flattering as the other. Everyone who saw the two outfits together agreed.
I don't know what got into me on that really expensive dress, either. I returned it unworn a day later and felt much relieved. Spending that much for a dress really bothered me, and I'm glad I had the sense to undo my decision.
