Just voted in eastern North Carolina
I'm in Pitt County, and voted at one of the 6 early voting sites in this county. The parking lot was full (about 50-60 cars) and there was a steady stream of people coming through the doors during the time I was there (which was about 9:15 a.m. on a weekday).

No problems encountered. The poll workers did a good job of explaining that you have to cast a separate vote for President, then vote straight ticket if you wish.

This is a heavily red area, but I saw many African-Americans voting. I think this is a good sign for our side.

3. took my wife to register and vote (one-stop) on Saturday
in Orange County. Good turnout for day 3 of early voting. Will be waiting 'til the 4th myself, so that my "I voted" sticker still has some sticky to it while I'm puking up celebratory beverages that night.

6. My ballot was numer 4922 at my polling place
Which seems like a lot to me, given that there are 6 polling stations doing early voting in this county.
