Drudge is linking to some AP poll that has the race 44% (O) to 43% (M) |
|
What he doesn't tell you is that that's among what the AP claims are "likely voters," whatever the hell that means.
Among all respondents to the survey (1,101 adults interviewed), the survey shows Obama ahead by ten points, 47 percent to 37 percent. He is also up by five points among registered voters.
Nice try, jackass.

3. I knew he'd find a poll to champion sooner or later. |

His reporting on Gallup yesterday must have been a temporary lapse into sanity.

The AP-GfK survey included interviews with a large sample of adults including 800 deemed likely to vote. Among all 1,101 adults interviewed, the survey showed Obama ahead 47 percent to 37 percent. He was up by five points among registered voters. http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D93VM4PO0&show_article=1

6. "Likely" voters usually means "old white Republicans" |
|
I'm not too worried about this poll.

7. I think they count all the new registered voters as unlikely. |

But why would they really be less likely to vote than Republicans, who are much less enthusiastic this year, as polls show. Doesn't make much sense to me...

8. It's an internet poll and it's ancient |
|
It started with numbers right after the McCain debate and ended Monday. Weird Ass Methodology.
