Way down south in the land of cotton
Way down south in the land of cotton,
People there think McCain is rotton,
Yes we can! Yes we can! Yes we can, Obama land!

Away down south in Dixie,
We can! We can!
In Dixieland Barack's our man,
Away down south in Dixie

John McCain made his pick of Palin
Now it looks like he is failin
Vote away, vote today
Obama land!

5. I found this place just after it started in 2001
I think I have read here daily ever since! It took me six years to get to 1000 posts, but I've been on fire this past year!

And, it was worth going through all the failed elections to see this truly historic moment in history!

I live in republican hell. Ninety-five percent of the residents here vote republican. Ninety percent of them know not to bring up politics when talking to me! I've forgotten more than most of them will ever know! This is my year! And, I will rub their noses in it every chance I get. Several folks here went to Fla. to protest the election in 2004. They seem to have melted into the woodwork this year. Wonder why?
