"redistribute the wealth around"...BOOOOOOOOO! |
|
How stupid are the people at his mob gatherings. Never mind for one minute that most probably get a tax break with Obama's plan, but are they so stupid not to know that we have had a progressive tax policy for many years?
KO last night broadcast the entire interview with Joe, the fucking plumber last night. All Obama's plan does is take the amount his business makes ABOVE the 250,000 and increase the PROGRESSIVE TAX already in place by by two points which is the level when Bush came into office. That's not socialism as they would have you believe. It is the way it has always been done since the income tax was founded. Is the media asleep? Day in and day out they keep McCain and Palin on television constantly lying about Obama without ever explaining the truth.

1. They "boo" on command. |
|
Although some of them earn more than $250,000 and don't understand the theory of "trickle up" (and that it actually DOES work as opposed to the proven opposite) most of them are really charactactures of ignorami who "vote against their own interests."

3. And yet they cheer at an economic system that by design redistributes wealth upwards. |
|
McCain supporters (and republicans in general) are mentally deficient. You can't make this shit up.

4. The media is disgusting. They could have stopped the Iraq war by just reporting facts. |
|
But instead they promoted it by uncritically reporting the BushCo line. This is one reason Democrats have been down for the last couple of decades. Democrats are fact-based, Republicans don't give a damn about facts. Yet the media would uncritically report that the Republicans declared the world was flat or that dinosaurs and humans co-existed (with fish, I guess). And people who are busy running their businesses or working their asses off seventy hours a week to get a few hours to spend with their children on weekends turn on the news to do their civic duty and try to understand events, and they are fed the Republican nonsense with no context to judge it by, and think "Wow, the Republican idea says nice things about me, and no one is challenging their facts, so they must be the best choice."
This is the worst era of professional journalism in world history. Worse than the Soviet Pravda's state reliance, worse the yellow journalism of our 19th century. It is bubble-gum tabloid entertainment without a shred of integrity.

During the replay of Barack's meeting with "Joe" it was pretty clear that Barack was talking about spreading the tax cuts around.
