Anyone else wondering where the fake terror alerts are? |
|
Its a Rovian mainstay we haven't seen so far this election (unless I missed it). When is the Bush administration going to claim they brought in an Al Queda sleeper cell with help from John McCain?
I bet they pull this in the next 2 weeks. Its all they have left.

2. I think we'll win anyway. |
|
I'm pointing it out more as a matter of interest.

4. I agree, there's still time for some funny-business... |
|
but this time more and more people are locking in their votes early. Millions more are doing so every day. This may be the start of a trend in which there will be a "voting season" more than a voting day. If given a good practical choice, most people IMHO would vote before the final day.
Not saying that's necessarily a good thing, though. Sooner or later, a real "game-changing" personal or national crisis will occur around Election Day, and most people will have already voted.

5. that would remind people that Bush exists |
|
and is on McCain's side.
McCain is trying to get people to forget that we now have a President.

6. First shot fired across the bow today |
|
I'm listening to Stephanie MIller online on an LA radio station and the news at the top of the hour included a "warning" that a terrorist attack to disrupt the election is "likely". BOOGA BOOGA! FEAR FEAR FEAR! :eyes: Sigh. Maybe the fearful Repukes will stay home.

8. Maybe they finally realized |
|
that most of the American public figured it out a long time ago.
Republicans in trouble = manufactured terror alert
It seemed to happen every time, didn't it....
In fact, I saw a number of charts and graphs with timelines showing how "terror alerts" just magically appeared each time Bush (or his ilk) got themselves into hot water.
Those boys have cried "Wolf!" just one too many times...

10. Exactly - they CAN'T pull the Cry Wolf act again. They squeaked by on it in 2004 when they still |
|
had some credibility left with the American people. Now, about 60% of the public will NOT buy it. And even a few journalists would speak up this time, and not just Keith.

11. It would look suspicious if they pulled that old trick again, might turn the whole map blue. |
