McCain's 2000 Town Hall meeting MUST GET CIRCULATED
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X2JPbQOHEkY

I know McCain is starting to sound like a broken record with his "Joe the Plumber" routine, and a lot don't like it, but there have to be some people reacting in McCain's favor, no?

If Obama starts referencing this, if liberal bloggers and news outlets and Obama and Biden get a hold of this, then McCain's entire foundation for the last couple weeks will crumble. Undecideds will realize that he is simply an opportunistic hypocrite, for three reasons:

1.) Obama could have recited this spiel verbatim to Joe and still meant the same thing.
2.) How could eight years of doing the opposite of what McCain suggested here change McCain's mind at all? Look at where our economy is now.
3.) McCain prides himself on being a 'maverick', and he is condemning a rare instance of that.

1. He actually did refer to this comment yesterday...
He referred to McCain in 2000...and said would his views then make him a socialist?

3. Yes...
...his people never miss a beat...that's what's so great!

Barack referred to McCain arguing against Bush's plan for the upper class tax cut when they were campaigning in 2000. The one of course which John initially did vote against...before he did a 180 and said yes the tax cuts should be permanent.
