Here is what I received from the Obama camp today. Can they please hit back harder !

So here is what many of us got from the Obama camp via email again today:


"The Republican National Committee is distributing a mail piece that says "Terrorists" on the front and opens to a big picture of Barack saying "Not Who You Think He Is."
John McCain -- who promised to run a respectful campaign -- said that he was "absolutely" proud of it. Will you take a look at the mailing and make a donation of $25 or more to push back?" (And the photo of the mailer had "help us FIGHT back" with it but wouldn't copy to here.

They raised 150 million last month. They have shattered fundraising records. I have donated time and again. They are running generally a good campaign, but they keep promising to "push back" or "fight the smears." I would like to see more "fight". (NOT counter-smears and counter-lies, but more "FIGHT", i.e. "McCain is desperate and wants to avoid the real issues so he's stooping to gutter politics." then pivot to the economy. In other words, HIT THE BASTARD HARD so SOME way !!

PS: I'm a lifelong Dem. I have volunteered for Obama from phone calling to sign posting to home canvassing to lit dropping. I have personally ATTACKED the Maine R Party via my home phone and snail mail. I think that I and MILLIONS of other Dems who expect a TOUGH response from the Obama people, as PROMISED ABOVE, deserve just that. Also, I have voted for Obama already in early voting. There is no one who loathes the R's more than me. So I think I'm within my right to ask the Obama camp and ALL Dems to take the gloves off BIGTIME and more directly ATTACK the RIGHT WING ASSWIPES for their robo-mailer smear campaign.
