Wouldn't an Obama supporter have scratched an "O" into her face? |

Some thing's going on beyond the obvious.
This young lady is GENUINELY "a tragic figure" and that tragedy has little to do with national politics. :(

But you know what I'm saying. I'm sure there is somebody out there who supports Obama and who also happens to be a bit of a psycho. Even that hypothetical person wouldn't have carved a "B" they would have carved an "O". Duh.

You've officially made it a non-story. Why did...they put B and not O?! It makes no sense. Woah!!!
Thanks.

with the tip O my switchblade?!? :wtf: ... and how in the hell did she hold so still and get "abrasions" with no obvious gashes? :eyes:
This young lady is "tragic" but only because the evidence suggests that she bored this in with a paperclip while gazing into the mirror.
EPIC FAIL. :(

In 2004 if you were going to graffiti a reference to Bush, would you write a G? No, of course not, he was known by "W" in the same way that Obama is known by "O".

Why are there no cuts/scratches around this backwards letter either?
The girl just held still while he slowly scratched a perfect backwards "B" into her face?

And wasn't she walking to the bank? How would he have seen her bumper sticker if she wasn't in the vicinity of her car?

23. Wow--after reading a bunch of threads, I knew someone had to |
|
have said it--
"B"?
Not "O"?
Not that random letters necessarily make any kind of statement, even if one allegedly "saw her bumper sticker." Nor that violence makes any kind of statement. But the story is dodgy. I don't really think one (I am not up on my mugging etiquette) pauses in the midst of a mugging to make a *statement*. Especially via--scratching a face in a delicate and rounded fashion, in such a way as to not draw blood, and be backwards. And cryptic, if one did not realize one was not referring to bassinets, bonds, bottleflies, or Bacon Bits. All brought to you by the letter "b". Even more so, as one might prefer not to be caught by the police because one was unnecessarily visible and indentifiable. Muggings are generally hurried and statementless affairs. Just sayin'.
(As to "not rounded"--I think a violent carving, etching, or scratching of a letter would be more "slashy" lines--like "Zorro". A "B" would be more like:
