Poll question: Who has the worst speaking cadence?
Edited on Thu Oct-23-08 07:19 PM by PCIntern
All of these individuals would fail Public Speaking 101. It is difficult to believe that they have been considered professionals since their competence in this regard makes my immigrant grandfather sound like Lord Chesterfield.

1. WHY ISN'T PALIN ON HERE?
She has literally the most annoying voice I've ever heard.

4. I have no room to talk, so I'm not voting
Literally, no room o talk. I run my words together and have a weird accent. Deep Sputh drawl meets far north mumble meets god knows what.

6. Pure cadence is probably Wolfe
but McGollum's molesterish wheeze and sleepy pacing made me have to punch the button for him.

12. I wouldn't fail Brokaw or Andrea Mitchell...
They can shoot from the hip when the occasion calls for it and do a reasonable job.

Now, I would fail Palin because she doesn't think ahead when she's talking. That's some of why her interviews go so horribly wrong. I would also fail McCain because he gets so repetitive and it becomes annoying.
