1) The "black eye" you are correct--there is no injury whatsoever to her actual EYE. Men have really big knuckles and the area of bruising would NOT just be conveniently in one place on her lower lid. You'd see marks AND bruising AND injury to the eye itself. Also even a really old black eye wouldn't look like this--as anyone who has ever had a bruise heal knows, they turn purpley, then YELLOWish, then finally fade. They don't go from black to lighter black to gone.

It makes sense that her eye would look like this for staging, though, since very few people can actually injure their OWN eyes, intentionally. We protect first and foremost our eyes and face. Always.

2) Yes, the lovely backwards B. On another site, I saw a guy say maybe the attacker was facing her legs when he did it, which is even MORE stupid than her fake story, because then she could easily run, kick, etc. Plus, why would he turn around that way??? Why wouldn't he just do it FACING her? And if he were facing her? You got it, it would be THE RIGHT WAY! The b would be facing her nose, not her ear.

I've read that she refused medical treatment. I've also read that she went to the ER.

But if she refused medical treatment, are the police allowed to do noninvasive things like try to remove what looks like black makeup (and which ought to be more purplish if it were genuine)? Are they allowed to touch her or examine her at all, without medical personnel, to see whether the discoloration is real?

The answer to this question would be pretty important, I think.

If she really is bruised, I apologize for doubting her (although the possibility exists of her being injured in some other scenario, of course). But it's true that she refused medical attention and if the police weren't allowed to even touch her with an Olay facial cleansing cloth, I remain suspicious.
