New York Times Endorses Obama! Not a shock but GREAT!!!

The editorial board of The New York Times has endorsed Senator Barack Obama for president.

In an editorial in its Friday editions, the board says that Mr. Obama “has the will and the ability to forge the broad political consensus that is essential to finding solutions to this nation’s problems.”

Of Mr. McCain, it says he has “retreated farther and farther to the fringe of American politics, running a campaign on partisan division, class warfare and even hints of racism.”

In the Democratic primaries, the editorial board endorsed Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton over Mr. Obama, but it now says that Mr. Obama has erased its reservations about him.

In the Republican primaries, the board endorsed Mr. McCain but it says now that he has “spent the last coins of his reputation” to placate the far-right wing.

Other wise, they will have to wait until the first of the month because that is when I will get my disability money. If that is too late, then I am sorry but sometimes we just cannot help that our money is limited.
