* A Modest Proposal *
Ok look. For those of you who have not bought into the idea that Obama will win this election outright and there will be absolutely no real competition or question.

What should happen if that doesn't come to pass?

I'm hearing about protests in the streets. This is all fine and dandy.

But what about those of us who are just too fucking scared of our government and don't want to take the chance of being locked up in a cell for the next two years?

Here's an idea.

TIER 1: Protest in the streets. I'm sure NorthCom or whoever else they have lined up will be happy to detain you indefinitely as potential terrorists. That's fine. We need you.

TIER 2: A National Sick-Out. Work Stoppage. Whatever you wanna call it. Are they gonna come to each and every one of our houses and force us at gunpoint to show up for work? I think not.

TIER 3: Ok, you are worried that you'll get fired and/or lose money when you're barely making it paycheck to paycheck. Fine. You start taking the bus to work or bike or walk. You stop spending any other money that is not absolutely essential. You refuse to buy anything other than food, essential clothing and pay rent.

All of the above occurs until the election is settled fairly and Obama is recognized as the legitimate and legally elected President of the United States.

Ya with me?

3. The only way that Novemeber 4th doesn't end with "President Elect Obama"
would be through theft. And, civil unrest, protests, riots and violence would follow, guaranteed. Everyone will demonstrate in theri own way, but millions will make the 60s look like a kids parade.

4. I think there will be riots afoot, quelled by Barack Obama for the good of the nation.
But he ain't gonna lose.

5. Fuck that shit.
That's what Kerry did. He gave up without a fight "for the good of the nation". Look where THAT got us.

The good of the nation does not always depend on "keeping the peace".

If that were the case, the founding fathers would have put the kibosh on the Tea Party.
