these students are owed an apology by the McCain camp. This is beyond disgusting. As a resident of PA I am embarrassed.

2. That is disgraceful
Except for the trauma to the children, there might be some value in drawing the cockroaches out from the baseboards so everyone can be repulsed and reminded of the ugliness of these attitudes.

3. What a disgusting person!
It's one thing to have horrible private racist sentiments but to scream them at kids who are there to better learn the political process is beyond the pale. The inaction of the rest of the crowd speaks volumes about many of McCain's supporters.

4. This is how we teach our black children the reality
of life in America. Each generation is exposed to it like our forefathers and foremothers. That is how we have survived hundreds of years here. There is no fantasy Raygun "color blind society". The rawness of it will keep the kids on their toes.

25. Sadly this is the reality!
It has improved but it's been set back at least 20 years because of the Reagan Republicans. "If their lips are moving they are lying"!

Today's kids are savvy they will be okay!

7. Silence is deafening
Why can't more people speak out against this?? Barack Obama did it the other day in Palm Beach County. When people booed in the audience after he mentioned McCain's name - he told the crowd we don't need that - I just need you to vote.

11. Here's the most troubling part...
One person's vocal ignorance started the storm, but it was the silence of the standby majority that was deafening.

19. Only an idiot would believe Obama's campaign
would be stupid enough to keep a secret website.

We do not have the vote of the idiots who believe the trash. They only preach to their choir.

13. These kids got a lesson alright,
that bigotry, racism and ignorance is alive and well. And that they obviously will be judged by the color of their skin and not on the content of their character.

To the SciTech kids, as a White Woman I personally apologize for my race and gender. You didn't deserve that kind of treatment.

Cheers to you for wanting to be involved with the political process. You are truly Real Americans:patriot::applause:

To the white woman:puke::spank:

14. Silence? How could they NOT defend the children?
"Several adults and community leaders were in earshot, but no one with the exception of the chaperone's defended the students' honor.

One person's vocal ignorance started the storm, but it was the silence of the standby majority that was deafening."

If you're not part of the solution....

The students are also owed an apology from the parents and community leaders.

Edited on Fri Oct-24-08 10:51 AM by bushisanidiot
I'm surprised she didn't start throwing things at those poor kids.

repukes have a severe anger problem.. especially when they are losing.

expect many more bitter repukes to be pulling this kind of shit after President Obama takes office.

21. Get ready for a HATESTORM after Nov 4th. Just imagine how many McCain supporters
are holding their tongues out of fear their race hatred could cost Republicans votes if picked up by the media. After Election Day, those restraints will be off, and the n* word will be in high season.
