Great Texas poll greeting stories, part trois

Spent another delightfully sunny day greeting people at the polls. Here's a picture of Taylor, a young man voting in his first presidential election. He and his parents stopped by to chat with Bullwinkle and me.



Also had a guy from North Carolina who recently moved here tell us he'd always voted Republican until now. He said he thought Barack would win NC. Another guy told us he'd voted Republican for 40 years, but "NOT NOW! Obama all the way!"

Another gentleman stopped by to tell us that his elderly, frail passenger had diabetes and had fainted while trying to vote - someone got her some orange juice, and the election judge allowed her to vote while on the floor. Her driver told us she was lying on the floor tapping the screen to vote for Barack.

We hope to turn Dallas County blue, if not the state. GOBAMA!
