1. "Let's talk about it on the backside"
I'm now hearing the same line from all three networks.
All of them are playing his ads a lot today.

2. Of course, this has nothing to do with the economy......
but has everything with their endless discussion on what McCain needs to do to win. Free campaign advise as well. John McCain is getting a lot more help than he is entitled to, IMO.

3. Illegal corporate campaign contribution
it's happening in Washington state, too, where Dave Reichert (R-Alleged Arsonist) is benefiting from air time being loaned to him by compliant local M$M outlets.

From a recent DFA email:

"What does the local corporate media do? They give Reichert over half a million dollars worth of ad time on a loan. That's money his campaign doesn't have and can't afford. And most importantly, it is illegal.

Burner's lawyers say the loan constitutes an illegal corporate contribution. The Federal Election Campaign Act bans the extension of credit in such disproportionate and unreasonable amounts. We can't let despicable tactics win on Election Day....

Meanwhile Reichert is busy trying to skirt the law and hopes no one notices. It could be months before the Federal Elections Commission reviews this case. And so far the Seattle area media seems content to ignore these illegal actions.
