GOP unfavorability reaches 60% for the first time ever.
The repug unfavorable rating is up to 60% for the first time ever. It wasn't even that high in 2006 when we gained all the house and senate seats.

3. I would be pretty happy with a 265-170 D-R split in the house.
Down the road, after the 2010 redistricting, I'd like to see even better.

5. this year the focus has to be the Senate
Its unlikely we will need to override any veto's in the House.

11. The focus must be on both.
The efforts are synergistic, not discrete. We need not just a Democratic majority in the house, but a safe, progressive majority.

10. Has the dem party favororablity rating ever been this low?
I know in past elections GOPer's where dancing around like the democratic party was dead.

Can this be the end of the GOP?
