Sen. Kerry, steal this refrain... |
|
"What I want to know is..."
It's a phrase that Dean used at the beginning of his campaign to effectively contrast himself with others in the party. I'd argue that it's use was the beginning of the snowball in his support.
I believe it would be much more effective than the "W is for..." phrase. It should be used to turn Bush's own words against him, a means to show Bush for a liar without calling him a liar. The biggest success that Rove has had in this campaign has been using Kerry's words against himself and we must do the same to Bush.
We should also hear much more "He said...but what he did..." "He promised...but the truth is..." "He now says...but can you believe it?"
Bush's credibility must be attacked and the best way to do that is to use Bush's own words against him.

1. The list at the bottom of the Conservative Idiots is a good place to start |

when using this phrase.
I wholeheartedly agree the approach would work well. Kerry talks in complete sentences when the rest of America only hears sound bytes. That's part of the reason dumbya does well in large parts of America.
