How many American boys is Bush willing to sacrifice for Falluja/Ramadi |
|
and Sadr City?John Kerry needs to put more focus of the failure of Iraq.Bush talks about elections for Iraq in January. How can they hold elections when the terrorists/militia/guerillas control numerous towns all over Iraq? For some reason, our fellow Americans think Iraq and the war on terror are related. The interim Iraqi govt is powerless. For Iraq to move forward, someone is going to have to deal with the terrorists/militia/guerillas.Guess who?Our troops. How would the American public feel if our troops had to fight in the streets of those towns in hand to hand combat? The death toll would increase dramatically which could swing the pro-Iraq camp/war on terror group to Kerry. It's like the other side is waiting until the elections. If the other side wins, the other side has proven they do not care about wasting innocent soldiers and they would already have four more years locked up.If Kerry wins, they will put their mess on his plate. In April, the U.S. and Iraqi civilian leaders did not allow the U.S. military to crush the militants in Falluja. This is an issue the other side refuses to bring up.Kerry should force the other side to take a stand on this issue since they created this mess. How many American boys is Bush willing to sacrifice for Falluja,Ramadi,Sadr City,Mosul and other towns?Al-Sadr is laughing at us.Would the pro-Iraq war group be willing to sacrifice their child for Fallaju or Sadr City?I don't think so

There are women in the fighting forces who have died in this mess and many now still in Iraq alongside the "boys."
For Bush and the likes of him, these women and men are the faceless masses--to be used at will to justify whatever the agendas the neo-con bunch feels will help enrich their cause.
The question is do ordinary Americans care and how much are we willing to sacrifice? When I run into repukes who are touting "four more years" for Bush it makes me wonder as to when America is going to say "enough! no more Americans will be sacrificed in this senseless cause." There are days when I don't see this happening and it breaks my heart to see not only the wilful ignorance of so many Americans about how we are sacrifing our own children, but the apparent attitude that it is o.k. to do so by allowing Bush to have four more years.
