2. It means that in the latest poll commissioned by ABC News and the Washington Post,
52% of voters said they supported Barack Obama, and 45% said they supported John McCain.

4. Which means absolutely nothing, correct?

As Rove might tell you, "it's the electoral votes stupid".

Obama can have ten million more popular votes than republican McBush and still lose if Rove & the republicans are successful at stealing the swing states necessary to get to 270 electoral votes....and just know that the republicans are doing their very best to steal this one too...

And why shouldn't they?

They've done it before and have NEVER been called on it, in every election beginning in 2000 - So why not do it again? The republicans have been planning and working on stealing this election for the past four years.... And what's to stop the republicans from doing it again anyway?

The Dems never cared about republican vote stealing, they never believed it, it wasn't that important to most Dems....they've never done anything about in the 21 month's they had the majority in congress.

Will we be waking up on Nov. 5th after Obama went into the election with a ten point lead nationally, winning millions more votes nationally than McSame....And then hear it announced McCain/Palin are the winners getting the needed 270 electoral votes...the republican hackable electronic machines & the republican purging of Dem voters did their job - And now, it's too late.....it's already been announced on television....nothing can be done about it now.

Polls mean NOTHING....Got to keep fighting until the end!

10. Depends, how much time did you spend voting? I spent 10 minutes filled out my ballot & mailed it in

I spend much more of my time donating my time and money to various democrats and at the local Dem HQ.

3. It means ranting about taxes is always somewhat effective for pugs, and that races tighten somewhat

That's an interesting pattern...

12. These numbers are very much what I expected the final popular vote tally to be.
I predicted 51% Obama, 46% McCain, and 3% Other.
