2. To be honest I don't think this poll is accurate.
I think Kerry is actually ahead, and more than a few points. The polls are not taking into account many demographics that are strongly democratic this time around.

3. Kerry has been gaining every day since the end of the GOP convention
but does the media talk about this poll? No, its all Newsweek/Time/Gallup.

7. If Kerry can keep Bush* below 48%, Bush* can't steal it!
Some sustained attacks on Bush*s failures from now until November shoud do the trick.

17. The hate-filled euphoria of last week...
has entered the morning after phase. The game, set and match bush claim has indeed become premature.

11. Note: Saturday's sample was unusually pro-Kerry.
Today is the last day that sample will be averaged-in.

IOW, don't be shocked if Bush appears to have jumped ahead by 3-4 points in tomorrow's tracking poll.

12. We'll know tomorrow what has happened.
Rasmussen admitted they had bad polling data from Saturday that was going to throw off their "otherwise consistent" data for three days. Today is day three.

In other words: If Bush is back to a 3-4% lead tomorrow? Don't sweat it.

Every single fucking Kerry surrogate should be out there parroting how Bush lost his bounce so quickly!!! Time to put them on the defensive.

14. Better wait a day/
The polling firm says it's back up to 4% (or so) tomorrow and that it has been there consistently over the last week with a single day exception.

You wouldn't want to go making a big deal of it just to see it disappear the next day. What would we attribute te "second bounce" to?

15. Time and Newsweek use Rasmussen data
"It should be noted that Rasmussen provided the core data for both the TIME and Newsweek polls. Their independent interpretation of the very same data produced dramatically different conclusions than those reached by TIME and Newsweek."
