Don't let anyone tell you W. Va is McCain's
I just got back from a drive through Harper's Ferry West Virginia with some friends of mine to view the scenery.

Included in that scenery were a whole lot of Obama signs and only one lonely McCain sign. The Obama signs were on people's lawns, in their windows, along roads, on their cars. The one lonely McCain sign was along the highway going out toward Virginia. Guess nobody wants to own that one.

I think the polls showing it in McCain's column are wrong until you factor in the fraud being perpetrated by the machines flipping votes.

1. campaign signs don't mean much. Some areas don't have campaign offices where there
are signs available. This can slant the visuals of someone observing to either side depending on who has well stocked campaign offices.

2. WV is McCain's, you were in the Washington
suburbs, come up north it's the opposite. I think the NRA sealed the deal for McCain in WV.

3. There are small pockets of Obama supporters in WV, but unfortunately
the WVU campus, and some areas of Wheeling do not compare to the back-woods, backward, larger sections of the state. I canvassed a wealthier area of Wheeling last week, with mixed results. I will not be surprised if McLame picks up WV...I would be really surprised if some of these people put their bigotry aside and vote for their best economic and security interests, but they probably won't. We're moving some resources below the Mason/Dixon line into Marshall County. I'll have more to add later.

For now, though, unless people are lying or just unwilling to admit they're voting for Sen. Obama...they're voting for McBush and the Moosehunter.
