9. Always add 3% to Obama with the Zogby poll
Which gives a result consistant with the other polls.

I don't care what his "party affiliation" is.

And what is it with people and their obsession with Arabs?

You don't think people should discuss his polls because he is an Arab?

Welcome to ignore.

Bye bye.

29. So is Zell Miller.
And Colin Powell's son is working on the mcRacist campaign. Neither argument really washes.

I'll take the anti-Obama push-poll Zogby released as confirmation that he is not an impartial pollster this cycle.

11. Zogby has no credibility left
His own commentary reveals what a hack he is. It's sensationalist bullshit.

Now, I fully expect this thing to tighten and be within five points on election day, but I'll wait for every other poll to confirm what's happening.

Edited on Sun Oct-26-08 09:28 PM by jenmito
which is BULL. EVERY Dem. gets the majority of Dems. At one point, Obama "only" got about 60% of their vote, but now it's up to 74%, probably due to "The Great Schlep" by Sarah Silverman. :)

13. Why didn't you post that Obama actually gained?
He will be at 49.9, an increase of just a little less than a point. McCain gained more, but it shows that Obama probably polled better Sunday than McCain.

22. Please Explain To Me How Obama Polled Better On Sunday
When you round off it's 50-45...

And rounding to the tenth when there is a MOE of 3% seems silly...

24. Simple...
Edited on Sun Oct-26-08 10:01 PM by Drunken Irishman
The last three days, Obama was losing support. Yes it all could have been in the MOE, but if Obama polled 49-46 like he did Saturday, his lead would have continued to slip and he wouldn't have gained. But since he stabilized and actually inched up a bit, it shows he polled better Sunday than he did Saturday.

Now I don't know Zogby's Friday numbers, but it was reported Obama poll 49-46 yesterday. If he again polled 49-46, which is only a three point margin, on Sunday, his numbers would drop. However, since his lead remained five points, it indicates he had a better polling day on Sunday than he did Saturday.

Look at it this way, now this is just an example and probably off.

If Obama was polling 50-45 Friday night, then polled 49-46 Saturday (as Zogby reported) and then again polled only 49-46, Monday's results (which put Obama at 49.9 to 45.1) would be 49.3-45.6, or almost exactly like Zogby's results from a single days polling on Saturday. That would put the race at 49-46 (rounded), since it's a rolling average. If he polled worse on Sunday than he did on Saturday, Obama would probably have dropped even more.

But Zogby's numbers show Obama at 50 and McCain at 45, indicating Obama probably polled better than the 49-46 he was polling yesterday.

He'll talk this up as McCain still gaining, which he did, but it looks like Obama probably polled 51-44 or something like that Sunday.

Zogby state polls are trash, because they use internet surveys. However, his daily polling showed a tight race between Bush & Kerry. The only "landslide" was from his damn online state polls.
