Edited on Mon Oct-27-08 01:30 AM by brettdale
Just to see the looks on their faces when the results come in, and to watch when they have to announce that Obama has won it.

5. I'll be at work
won't be able to watch tv until very late in the evening. (election will be decided by then)

I'll be able to monitor the internet. Probably checking many different sites for the latest info.
CNN, MSNBC etc. and of course...DU

10. I know! It's gonna suck not to have access to tv that night
but maybe having to work will keep me occupied and help calm my nerves and blood pressure a little....probably not.

but I think it's gonna be PARTY TIME when I get home.

7. In order of favor, CSPAN, MSNBC, CNN, then the networks...
But I'll be surfing to avoid talking heads and trying to find the freshest news.

It will probably change moment by moment, hour by hour, and consist of two or three main sources, plus DU!

11. Probably MSNBC
Edited on Mon Oct-27-08 01:55 AM by mentalsolstice
To watch KO, Tweety, Rachel, Chuck, Andrea et al. They all seem to spit on their fingers and put them up to the wind and go with it, with the exception of KO and Rachel. I have to admit, I'm really going to miss Timmeh Russert on this one, as he was always entertaining on election night. I'm thinking he's really trying to claw his way out of his casket right now. But I may flip over to Faux news just to watch the wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Jon Stewart and company are the only way to watch election coverage IMO.

15. CNN...
...only because (a) I will love watching Begala, Carville, Martin and Brazile being disturbingly smug and sticking it to Castellanos, Bennett, and Sanchez every chance they get (OMG, I'm drooling at the thought of it) and (b) I get a kick out of listening to Toobin and Gergen and a depressed hang-dog Rollins.

Then I'll watch any reruns on MSNBC. :)

18. Decided I'm going to watch MSNBC in person at Election Plaza in NYC
Going to try to get on TV! I always wanted to be one of those crazy people with the signs behind the anchors, hopefully I can get in a shot behind Tweety :D. Wish me luck lol.

25. I assume they're going to do Democracy on Ice again?
Where they paint the rink at Rockefeller Center with a huge map of the USA and paint in the color of each state as they declare it? And have a running tote board of electoral votes on the side of 30 Rock? I sure hope so.

20. PBS
and flipping back and forth to MSNBC, but they usually go overboard and get a bit unbearable with their self-importance.

On the other hand, I might camp out in Grant Park with a radio.
