McCain and Palin WIll Live in Infamy: Destruction of the Republican Party
Unbelievable the lack of judgment from John McCain elevating a true intellectual idiot to run for the VP of the USA. Where is the evidence that Sarah Palin is an idiot? Her SATs, her failed college education, her failed motherhood values abandoning her children to drugs and sexual promiscuity to feed her ego, her below-average speaking abilities. Many senior GOP politicians and conservative think tanks have already thrown Palin under the bus as unfit to lead. Recently, David Frum indicated that the GOP is poised for cataclysmic losses and Democratic strategist James Carville has predicted that after this election there will be no infrastructure standing of the Republican party. The new Republican party will have to rebuild without the fanatical right wing and its zealots like Limbaugh, Hannity and Savage. The religious right and the Moral Majority (which as neither moral nor majority) will once again be relegated to the extreme of the political system. So this election, Palin and McCain will take the blame for the destruction of the Republican Party and to paraphrase REM's song "it's the end of the Republican world as we know it, and I feel fine"

3. The repub party chose to get in bed with the religious zealots in exchange for votes.
It was a monster they couldn't control. There's always a price when you sell out your convictions.

It will be fun to watch the finger pointing & blame after the election.
