To me this shows how out of touch Republicans are when 98% of the population is going to be a recipient of his tax cuts.

11. You can do the same thing with Dickens
People who read him rightly (i.e. why he wrote into first place), say "oh, the powerful people in his books are so awful, the main characters suffer so much injustice. I makes me want to work for a better society."

Conservatives read Dickens and think "How-To Manual."

12. Just 'cuz you have the law on your side doesn't mean you're the "good guy".
Once upon a time, Americans knew that.

13. I had a professor who said that
He always said that Prince John only made taxes so high because King Richard was captured in the Crusades and John was trying to raise the ransom money to free him. Robin Hood was a greedy thug who had no conception of the greater picture, and put the life of the King at risk because of his own petty feelings. The poor Sheriff of Nottingham was a good civil servant only trying to enforce the law, as his job required him to do.

6. another really stupid argument is...
..."do the American people REALLY want one-party rule, with Democrats controlling everything?"

Where the fuck have they been? Are they really that stupid? The answer is HELL YES, if only temporary and to clean up the mess that they created, and if they haven't gotten that into their thick reptilian skulls, they really are clueless. If there's anything that's been crystal clear for the last 3 years, it's THAT.
