1. What about the Stevens verdict in tiny text?
They must be paying drudge a lot of money in this last week for a headline like that.

His site is being beaten by Politico and Huffington Post and probably others these days, so maybe he's trying to cash out while he can!

2. good find. notice what all the other websites highlight
CNN, ABC, MSNBC, even FOXNEWS.com have huge headlines around Ted Stevens CONVICTION and big BREAKING NEWS banners on assassination plot.

Drudge is sludge. No news there either.

4. That was a rhetorical question right?
Drudge will never ever report the truth.

5. Large Font story isn't going to get much traction either.
It just isn't. It's too late in the game for any new material. Especially a story that might take some thought. They are so done.

13. "Drudge Rules Our World."
- Mark Halperin, aka "Mr. Conventional Wisdom."

Drudge actually does matter, in the sense that the mainstream media picks up the shovel for any ol' shit he lays out there. And we can't ignore Matt Drudge... but we can certainly minimize his influence and bury him. That's the idea, here.

And we're doing a great job of it here in '08... Drudge just can't seem to get anyone to salute when he runs his bullshit up a flagpole these days. Oh, except he's the one who pushed the "Obama-Stigmata-Backward-B-Pittsburgh-Attack-Hoax Story" which the MSM and nutbar talk radio dutifully covered the moment he put a siren on it.

10. The Stevens conviction should have been in big font.
The neo-Nazi plot? Not so much.

12. Why does anyone care about this guy?

This is no different than some jagoff named Ralph Redneck posting on his blob. Worthless tripe.

14. The skinhead plot story is already moved DOWN the page!
as of 2:45 pm PST, the skinhead assassination plot story is 5 slots down the center column, below a photo from another supposedly more important story.
