Dumbest reason I have heard for not voting: "we are screwed whoever is in the white house, and..."
"the alcohol referendum is not on the ballot." "So I am not voting."

1. Gee... they got screwed worse with Bush in the WH for 8 years.
They must think it can only get better with McCain.

2. "no difference" and "we are screwed whoever" is a meme pushed by

3. I've got people like that in my family.
I think that attitude is born of apathy, ignorance and faux cynicism.

Its good that these people are not voting. They are probably the type who would cast a last minute vote for McCain because 'He's the one what says he's a mavrik. I like Top Gun. I'll vote for mavrik.'

Yeah... stay home on Nov. 4th.

4. People said this in '00 and '04 also. Now, they're celebrated when they register to vote.
Lazy asses.

5. Ah, the line so often abused by South Park philosophers.
"Giant Douche/Turd Sandwich, dudes--they both suck."

Intellectual laziness at its best.

7. I posted a link to this David Sedaris article recently
Its called 'Undecided'

I don’t know that it was always this way, but, for as long as I can remember, just as we move into the final weeks of the Presidential campaign the focus shifts to the undecided voters. “Who are they?” the news anchors ask. “And how might they determine the outcome of this election?”

To put them in perspective, I think of being on an airplane. The flight attendant comes down the aisle with her food cart and, eventually, parks it beside my seat. “Can I interest you in the chicken?” she asks. “Or would you prefer the platter of shit with bits of broken glass in it?”

To be undecided in this election is to pause for a moment and then ask how the chicken is cooked.

I mean, really, what’s to be confused about?
