PA Tracking Poll:
Obama 53 (Unchanged
McCain 41 (+1)

http://www.muhlenberg.edu/studorgs/polling/Release_10_27.pdf.pdf

The final Muhlenberg / Morning Call poll in 2004 was the most accurate state poll in PA (Kerry 48-Bush 46). So this is as reliable as it gets.

1. Obama has had a double-digit lead in this poll for weeks.

5. I Dunno
but when I woke up this morning and the radio told me that Clinton (Bill) would be campaigning here (PA), I didn't take it as a good sign. I've never believed the double digits in PA antway. In the Philadelphia 'burbs it's pretty one-sided, but the rest of the state....

4. Well, Rasmussen will release his own poll later today claiming that
McCain is closing in. I guess that means it's over. We better pack it in. :sarcasm:

6. I think McGrumpy and Caribou Barbie are in PA today. I suspect it is their last trip there.
My guess is that McGrumpy will spend the rest of the week in red states where there are close senate races to try to save a couple of Repub senate seats (except for Oregon - Gordie Smith doesn't want him there. Heh.) See if he doesn't go to Kentucky, North Carolina, and New Hampshire though.

7. And even more good news:
The Muhlenberg College/Morning Call poll does not weight by party affiliation. In addition the poll does not include cell phones in its sampling frame.
