Chris Matthews even has me blubbering |
|
Saying that Obama has done everything right being a good father etc etc - So what will it take for people to consider voting for the black guy. At least consider him.
Matthews is doing his own ad for Obama. I'm in shock that he's gone this far tonight.

|
everytime he gushes about Obama. I hate him more than the ones who consistently stick to their candidate than this guy. He makes me sick the way he flip flops.
And usually whenever he goes to far, he makes up for it the next day so you can expect him to be talking about what a good chance McCain has today.

20. The most telling sign from Tweety was that for the first few minutes of his comments |
|
he was in a state of complete calm and peace. He was speaking without his rapid, somewhat stilted dialogue, and he was calm, slow, measured, and the look on his face before he even spoke, more than anything, said it all. It said, this is our next president, and I couldn't be more proud.

but he used to appear regularly on the late Duane Garrett's show. I remember in 1996, I was a little worried about Bob Dole (sounds silly now) when Chris came on Garrett's show and complete with facts and figures he had me convinced that Dole didn't have a prayer. The way he presented it gave me a peace of mind I remember to this day.
I love Ray, and I miss Bernie too...I guess he's in prison by now...the 10 PM slot hasn't been the same.

65. He really addressed racism in a way rarely done. |
|
The great majority of whites who hold racist views have rationalizations:
1. Blacks are lazy. 2. Blacks just want a hand-out. 3. Blacks have a criminal nature. 4. Blacks think we all owe them a living.
And so when presented with a man who obviously doesn't meet any of those criteria, the logical question, as Matthews puts it, is: "What more do you want before you're willing to vote for a black guy?"
