OMFG!!! Who Saw The Anti-PALIN Advertisement?!?!?!
Edited on Wed Oct-29-08 07:58 PM by vaberella
Shit...

They took a girl who loooked freakishly like Bristol Palin and she was talking about being raped and then getting pregnant. She says, Sarah Palin wouldn't allow her to get an abortion and that the Government should control and decide what she has to do.

The girl said the most amazing thing and on point..."I didn't have a choice about being raped. I should have a choice about having the baby."--Margaret Munzer

I was so shocked by this commercial goosebumps rose. Because if I saw it..other's saw how much that girl resembled Bristol Palin.

Edit for video link

http://www.saysme.tv/WAMP

She's the young girl on the right!!! I just realized I video taped it since I tape KO. I live in NYC and it was shown on MSNBC during KO at around 8:42pm channel 14.

3. Obama didn't go there, but I'm fuckin' glad those organizers did.
I have to find a recording of that ad so I can post it. I agree with you. This is what needs to be done. Oh it's okay for the government to get involved with my reproductive organs, but it's not okay for the Government to get into our lives. The stay the fuck out. Jesus when I saw her statement. I was shocked.

10. Hmmm, wonder if it was a national ad buy...
Seems like a waste in New York. No offense to New Yorkers, I just mean overall it makes more sense to run in a battleground state.

11. The Ad isn't Obama's ad.
Edited on Wed Oct-29-08 08:14 PM by vaberella
It was an independent ad and if you go to the site I listed in my message, an independent person buys it and buys the air time for it.

So it has nothing to do with Obama and it can be bought by any person and posted. So no it's most likely not national.

16. Heh...look at the smilies enabled section in your post.
It's located in message options. A box pop up will come on and scroll down and you'll find it..

Or just write wow in lower case and put : before and after the word. :wow:

Just one of the many reasons that the government should have no say in these sort of decisions.

22. Or maybe not
I'm still wondering about those rumors about Trig. Palin seems to have a lot to hide when it comes to her family, and I would not be surprised if Bristol is not currently pregnant.

Either way, I hope Bristol is doing well. Being pregnant (or a new mom) as a teenager can't be easy.

18. To be 100% accurate, Palin never said she was for the Gov. forcing people who were raped
Edited on Wed Oct-29-08 08:19 PM by Quixote1818
to follow through to term. She just said that she personally would do so. While we don't know what Palin would actually do if in office, we shouldn't be putting words in her mouth. In Alaska it is said that she wasn't too concerned about pushing through any Anti-Abortion stuff and was more interested in working with Dems to get her Pipeline through. Now, I hate Sarah Palin, but this kind of add is simply not honest.

On edit: The rape kit thing would have been a better way to go because that was a fact.

19. It's not just about Palin. She's the Veep to a Presidential Candidate who is anti- Roe v. Wade.
It doesn't matter if it's Palin or not. She's a woman who should understand the situation but she supports a Man who doesn't.

Tons of their supporters are against anyreproductive freedom, a freedom only applied to women. It's already fine with the US for my insurance company not to cover birth control pills, for religious reasons :eyes: I have to order them from England.

The two of them in the white house would just start some terrible shit, all the pro-life anti-women people would have the power.
