From the bottom of my heart I thank Hillary and Bill for their |
|
astounding support and hard work. We couldn't ask for more.
I loved the way Bill laughed last night at Obama's jokes. It made me laugh harder just watching him. It was genuine. His face even turned red because he was laughing so hard.
I loved Bill's speech. He ticked off the reasons, one by one, to vote for Obama. Philosophy, policy, decision-making ability, and the ability to execute those decisions. It is so simple, yet powerful coming from the president who was good for our economy and so good for America's standing in the world.
I am proud to say I'm an Obama, Bill and Hillary supporter. Together we can achieve great things.

3. And I loved it that Bill revealed that Obama had discussed the |
|
economic situation with him and with Hillary and with their advisors, along with Barack's own advisors. That is what a president does.

4. Absolutely. Watching Bill, you knew he was on our side. He was energized and passionate. |
|
Despite the media spin about Bill and Obama, they both looked wonderful together and had good chemistry.

6. Did you see Bill's face when Obama did the PB&J joke |
|
He was initially like, "oh no you didn't" and then broke into laughter.
I think he really loved that line.
I was so proud of my party last night watching that rally, how we have all come together in peace and with a common goal of repairing our country. Contrast that with the narcissistic infighting we are about to see from the Republicans and it only makes it that much better!

10. He totally cracked me up. The look on his face was priceless. |
|
And then when he started giggling and then laughing, I laughed right along with him. We have SO much to be thankful for and proud of.

7. I really wanted Hillary to win the nomination, but I have to say that I have been just as inspired |

by watching her campaign for Obama as I would have been if she were the nominee. You don't always get what you want in life so to see her out there moving forward with her head held high is truly inspiring. She's teaching a valuable lesson in grace and perseverance. As Bill Schneider said on CNN about her rising favorability rating, "This does not look like a loser."
I also love the fact that she is proving the haters wrong by campaigning her heart out for Obama as she promised she would.

9. Dammit, you just made me get all teary again. I knew she would |
|
work hard. I didn't expect to see her so passionate about it. If nothing else I thought she would be exhausted both emotionally and physically. Most of us would be in the same circumstances. But no. Her heart is in this and she is tireless in her efforts.
Bill was superb last night, too. It was a powerful speech that we can all be ecstatic about. I think the timing was perfect and will help seal the deal.

I only hope that the party remembers her tireless effort in the future. I still hope that one day she becomes our first woman president. She's too good a politician and too brilliant to shove to the back of the senate.

8. Yep - as our former Gov Vilsack said: |
|
Hillary has done more appearances for Obama than any other candidate.
And she puts McCain's supporters to shame.
