Putting yourself in the public spotlight means putting yourself in a position to be publicly criticized, as well.

Susan Sarandon has no fear of getting political and being criticized for it because she's already spent a lifetime risking getting shot down.

Republicans who are whining about the heat "Joe" is taking, especially Republican radio hosts, know this too and that's why their "hands off Joe" crap is exactly that.

That said, the most important thing is to make sure that when we call Joe a fraud, we don't isolate him away from the McCain campaign. Instead of "Joe's a fraud," it needs to be, "McCain is using that fraud, Joe ..."
