Republican Frank Luntz did a focus group last night on Obama's infomercial |

On edit Luntz thought it played well with all voters.
He was on Faux this morning.
He is political consultant and pollster who you probably seen on Bill Maher's Real Time show a bunch of times. Anyway he was using the 'dial' thing with a graph line and pointed out sections of Obama's infomercial with a combination of 24 independents, republicans and democrats.
He said that segments of the film really touched the hearts of all especially about the guy who lost his pension. "As you can see when this segment was played the graph went totally positive with all voters'
He then realized that Faux refused to show what the graph had done .
He said that his monitor showed it and asked Faux what happened on their side the segment ended right after that.

2. Faux didn't like to show the results. Also |
|
The first segment they showed with the pensioner they played the audio, the next segment which was on the school teacher the Faux person said to cut the audio because it wasn't necessary.
Luntz got frustrated cause they wouldn't show his results or show his graphs.

5. The voters were from the I-4 corridor in Florida and had not voted yet |
|
Anyway, he seemed to say that it was an extremely effective infomercial and I thought his sample was important also.

7. If you have a chance to watch the documentary on the reworking of the |
|
War Room it is very interesting and it has quite a positive interview with Luntz who basically says as a conservative he was inspired by the Clinton campaign and their campaign techniques.
At one point Dennis Kucinich walks by - Luntz is interviewed sitting outside in front of a building - and they share a warm greeting.
Luntz explains that Kucinich is one of his best friends in Washington even though they agree on nothing from a policy point of view, stating that was how Washington used to be, you could be friends across ideological lines.

12. He'd lose credibility as a focus group guru if he'd lied. |
|
Seems maybe he has a wee bit of integrity.
