I just gave away three Kerry buttons! |
|
I just went to dinner wearing my John Kerry T-shirt. One person stopped me to discuss politics (he claimed not to support either candidate but happily accepted a Kerry button), and two others asked me where I got my T-shirt (I told them about johnkerry.com and gave them buttons). I'm a very shy person with strangers and was afraid I would end up keeping all the buttons I bought, but this was really easy! You don't have to be outgoing and confident; all you have to do is wear your Kerry gear, get some buttons, and go out! :7 (You may have to be a little patient, though; the first two days that I wore my Kerry T-shirt, nothing happened.)

6. Too bad I didn't run into you. |

I feel like I'm the only person in Hawaii wearing a political T-shirt. I did see a Kerry bumper sticker today, though.

8. No, just a Kerry sticker, exactly at the center of the back bumper. |
|
Heh, so there must be a third Kerry supporter in Honolulu!

Besides giving out the buttons, when people see you proudly wearing your shirt, it gives the Kerry campaign a real face and personalizes it. I've talked with people with Kerry bumperstickers on their car and they are always so happy to talk to other Kerry supporters!

I'm so glad I'm wearing it. At first, I was skeptical that buying and wearing Kerry gear would make a difference. But I saw that other posters were recommending it, so I decided to give it a try.
People are especially impressed when they realize you're not with the official campaign and that you paid for the buttons yourself.
