I saw a nauseating sig line on another web site
Obviously from a Bushie. It said "President Bush saved your ass, whether you wanted him to or not." This isn't even a political site (it's a music forum-but this was posted under the general discussion thread so I don't blame the site). I almost had to run to the bathroom. This jerk is so representative of Bush supporters-and it's frightening.

2. Let's see: 9/11 happened on his watch, and since he invaded Iraq...
Like a cocained bull in a china shop, while basically flipping off the rest of the world in the process, he's stirred up a hornet's nest of hatred for the U.S. so big that we will be reviled for decades to come.

If anything, * has failed to protect anyone's ass, and in the meantime has exposed our collective ass to the worst sort of global hatred and danger.

5. I must have missed those Iraq invasion plans...
Perhaps they were planning on sending troops to the United States. Maybe it's in that "secret intelligence" that Cheney claims he has.

8. Harmony-Central by chance?
I frequent some music forums and their "open discussion" boards are frequented by repuke trolls. Harmony-Central is the worst.

12. Saved my ass from what?
He didn't save 3000 asses on 9/11.

He hasn't saved anybody's job.

He hasn't saved us money on gas or prescription drugs.

He hasn't saved our health benefits.

He hasn't saved Social Security or Medicare.

He hasn't saved us from Osama bin Laden who is.... where?

And he sure didn't save the 1003 Americans and the thousands of Iraqis who've died so far, as well as the thousands of wounded.

So pardon me if I'm a little confused.

16. He was asleep on the wheel on September 11, 2001
I guess those people would have wanted him to save their ass. Bush didn't do his job and now he is claiming to be our "Saviour" ... :puke:

Bush thought playing golf and cutting brush in Crawford is just so much more important than protecting the American people

17. That Line Is Absolute Nonsense, Ma'am
Indeed, the whole emphasis on the September attacks mystifies me: it boils down to no more than this --- we got sucker-punched when I was the lookout, so I'm the best protection you've got....

The sane and reasonable reaction, of course, would be to denounce the man who allowed the blow to fall as an incompetent guardian, and replace him at the earliest opportunity. Doubtless this is what the majority of the people of our country mean to do this fall.

"Supporting Bush is a character flaw."

"LET'S GO GET THOSE BUSH BASTARDS!"
