Last minute polls show definite tightening
Obama campaign announces that they will start advertising in Georgia, Arizona, South Dakota, and Montana

This picture gram reminds me of something but I can't put my finger on it

13. hmmm a human appendage yes yes it could be but maybe not that one

something that actually is closer to the actual size in the picture-gram.

I just can't get my hand around it.

2. I wish they wouldn't waste the money here in SD.
I'm all for optimism, but I really think SD is a lost cause. It would be better spent on closer states like Georgia or Arizona.

3. Its inexpensive and it helps down ticket -- it also helps to recruit good candidates for the next
election -- it could be as low as a $ 100,000 in South Dakota.

4. Not to mention that GA and AZ have far more electoral votes.
MT and SD have only 3 each, IIRC, so campaigning there wouldn't seem to be a good use of resources...

12. Ah ha! So you're the one who's been pushing for that new 49-state strategy!
South Dakotans are citizens too. We should make our case to them every time we can. In the long run this will purple up the reddest of states. Even if we fail, we can force them to spread their resources thinner too.

20. I guess.
Still, I can't foresee this putting any major dents in McCain's already wrecked plans.

Though increased Obama turnout might help us defeat the abominable Measure 11 and buy our state a little more time before the theocrats strike again. Maybe there *is* a bright side here.
