Have you received a GOTV call / knocker from Obama or McCain?

Checking to see how many people have received Get out the Vote calls or door knockers from either campaign in the past 2 - 3 weeks.

In the poll below, I indicate "competitive" state... that means any state that is currently "leans McCain, Toss up, or Leans Obama. The light blue, pink and orange states on the CNN Map: http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/calculator/

If you've received a call/canvass - post your state below. I want to see where we're active, and where McCain is active.

Edit: Please K&R This one for a while.. i'd like to get at least 100 votes to see how Obama's GOTV is doing compared to McCain's. So give me a kicky if you can!

1. I was called and asked to make GOTV calls, so I did. Got 1 nasty McCain robocall.

2. I voted that Obama has called..

I was phone banking for him earlier this week.. then I got a call from the same phone bank on Wednesday night about an hour after the Obamamercial.

I'm in Nebraska, but I put that I was in a competitive state.. because the 2nd Congressional District here IS light pink.. and Obama could get 1 EV if he gets Omaha.

Nothing from the McCain camp yet.

3. I didn't know how to vote, I had a few real people call for Obama, and have gotten

several robocalls reminding me to vote.

all I got from McLame was 4 very nasty robocalls

4. I got an Obama call

and a text asking me to help out my making some GOTV calls. I live in CA so I'll probably be calling NV or CO.

we were making calls earlier this week - and we were just calling down the voter registration list. :)

6. Well, I said I'm in a competitive

state, but I'm not sure New Mexico is really all that competitive any more.

The best part was that I got my knock on the door by Obama GOTV folks the very afternoon that I voted early, two weeks ago!

7. not competative but did get robo call

I hung up before seeing who it was paid by. Talked about Obama supporting partial birth abortion with graphic adjectives...and I just hung up. This is Washington State...give me a break.

12. No calls in NJ from either side YET - caveat

We have a strong county and local Democratic Party and I am certain there will be calls starting shortly. We do not have early voting so usually they do not pester people before the last weekend or the voters tend to get annoyed.
