1. why did the guy on MSNBC say that this poll showed it tied among independents?
He was just on about 15 min. ago. I can't find that crosstab anywhere in the detailed poll data. That wouldn't really make sense considering the party weights.

4. I have no idea. He must have cross tabs that aren't shown on the web site.
But we can chalk up another 7 point lead in this poll today, and it is great seeing the undecideds break evenly. Put differently, McCain can't close a 7-point gap with only 5% undecided.

Up one in Daily Kos (7)
Up one in Rasmussen (5)
Up one in ABC/Wash Post (9)
Up one in GWU/Battleground (4)
Up two/three in the two Gallup likely voter models (8 and 9)

9. Diageo is the poll that had the funky numbers on already voteds
Something like +1% for Obama. Every other poll that has reported already voteds, is reporting >+15% for Obama.

But I can't find the already voteds on any cross tab since that number was reported on MSNBC or CNN.
