2. MSNBC is lying. Clinton supporters were INSULTED by the choice of Palin.
Edited on Sat Nov-01-08 01:15 PM by Overseas
It may be that the RNC has paid 15 angry women to carry their PUMA flag, but 99% of the women I know are insulted by the Palin pick.

They also feel it was an insult to Hillary's intelligence and her policy positions you outlined.

And EVEN WORSE on McLiar's healthcare -- McLiar wants to TAX MEDICAL BENEFITS as income !!!

3. PUMAs are Operation Chaos trolls
Edited on Sat Nov-01-08 01:17 PM by Wolfies Revenge
It's ironic they are so vocal against the candidate they voted for in the primaries.

Same crap different candidate:

Hillary is a lesbian: Obama is gay
Hillary and her husband killed people: Obama is murderer of choir boys
Hillary is a socialist: Obama is a socialist
Hillary is the devil in pantsuits: Obama is the dude in revelations anti-christ
Hillary is a carpetbagger: Obama is inexperienced running on buzzwords
Hillary is the product of the Chinese: Obama is the product of Soros

They are entirely ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ worthy.

8. It's funny I had the same argument with PUMAs online. The same crap the GOP is throwing at Obama is
much the same as they threw at Hillary over the years. When she was First Lady they called her a Marxist and even went as far as to claim she decorated the White House Christmas tree with crack pipes. Oh, and health care reform opponents also burned effigies of her simply because she wanted to improved health care. The nerve! She ended up wearing a bullet-proof vest for a few speeches- over health care! There are a lot of whackjobs supporting the Rethugs.

11. And an awful lot of that same crap
is exactly what they threw up at Bill, too: how suspicious it was that he visited the Soviet Union on a student tour, etc. Maybe this next eight years of Obama's presidency will give them some time to write some new material. Although I doubt it.

16. Yeah, I remember.
She received so many death threats that the SS wouldn't let her make public speeches without wearing a bullet proof vest.

:-(

12. You forgot a few
Hillary and Obama pull the wings off of flies
Hillary and Obama eat puppies and kittens
On the full moon, Hillary turns into a bat, Obama turns into a werewolf.

4. Ex-Hillary supporters would more likely vote for McKinney than McCain...
...at least that's what that bitch Lynn Samuels on Sirius is going to do...rather throw her vote away than vote for Obama...what a fool!

15. I know...it's weird...her take is on it is that "...at least I've voted for a woman!"
Doesn't seem to matter to her what the issues are, just what sex she's voting for. People can be so shallow.

6. Good list. I just don't see many of them voting for McCain...
I voted for Hillary. I honestly didn't like the way the caucuses went, the false accusations of racism (let's not go there, you ain't convincing me Hillary's campaign was racist after the things I've been reading since the convention from the Republicans), the arbitrary assignment of delegates to Obama, etc. and misc.

But the OP is what counts. Hillary told her followers to support Obama, loud and clear. The reasons are in the OP.

Not only is the choice clear, but taking a fresh look, we could be doing a lot worse than Obama. Without having any Kool-aid on my lips, seeing his performance since the convention, I believe that Obama can take us farther in the next 8 years than Hillary had even hoped to.

Obama '08. I will be there.

9. I figured, and I'm glad to hear that,
but MSNBC keeps insisting that all the undecideds are actually Hillary supporters who are leaning McCain and will swing the entire election, and while I don't believe that for a second, I thought I'd put the list up in case anyone here knows someone in that situation. I had put this list together just after the primaries, and thought I'd throw it up again in defiance of MSNBC.

20. There are some bonafide PUMAS still out there.....that I know...
As I run into a few over at Wes Clark's blog. A chunk of his supporters, who supported Hillary are/were PUMAS. I think most will either not vote for the President, write in Clark or Hillary, vote 3rd party.....and yes, a fewer number will vote for McCain just to spite Obama, whom they still hate.

I'm sad for the General that those people are even still posting on his Democratic Blog.....but, it is their home now.

That being said, there's only a few posters left there now; maybe 30 at the most (I'm probably being generous). Of those, perhaps 1/2 are PUMAS. It is sad that they see nothing good in Barack....but He's not a perfect man, so no everyone, even those who would say they are Democrats will suport him.
That being said, it is a minute minority; thank goodness.
