Dolly as Palin. :puke:

As a blogger pointed out, the caption can definitely be taken in more than one way:

3. I'm stunned that Family Circus still exists.
I thought it died in the late 70's because it sucked so bad.

and I've never had to say I was surprised at how sucky it could get.

I especially like the dead grampa with angel wings and the little dotted line trips around the neighborhood.

A couple years back our local paper moved it off the funnies page into the classified section and I panicked because I couldn't find it. I thought good ol Bill Keane had gone tits up.

But I finally found it. Now I look forward to it each and every day.

It really does suck. But the mom on TFC is kind of a MILF. I like those tight sweaters she wears.

11. Don't worry about Bill
Going tits up. He has an even stranger right-wing son waiting in the wings to take over the strip and recieve his inheiretence. I vote for "we ain't seen nothin' yet."

8. Hmmmm
Sorry, I think it's a reach.

First, subtlety is not a conservative hallmark. Second, sometimes a comic is just a comic.

9. Never mind the caption
Just having Dolly dress up as Palin is enough. Keane and his son are from the Phoenix AZ suburbs, and right-wing crap usualy infests their crap panel.

No doubt Palin is a role model for the spawn of idiot suburban Repuke fundies as depicted in the panel.

What are the odds he's Republican?

16. I'm sure more people went as Palin than as Iron Man.
And claiming racism is preposterous. It's not really that funny, but it's not racist either.

18. I've got a funny follow-up strip. Dolly, Jeffy and PJ die after eating melamine-contaminated candy.

End of strip.

You're welcome, Bill Keane.
