5. That was pretty entertaining. |
|
Sometimes Imus is entertaining and, for the record, I don't believe he's a racist. Just a crochety old man who is always in a bad mood and never met anyone who wasn't worthy of his over-the-top insults.
My favorite line of the Kerry tape came from Imus when he said, "I hope your guy wins even though I'm voting for McCain."
LOL. Just like the rest of McCain's supporters!!

7. That doesn't even make |
|
sense to me..if he wants Obama to win why doesn't he just vote for him?
Because at this point in time it smacks of stupidity to vote for eternal war, fear, and lies.

9. He seems to like Obama, but Imus has always been a huge |

supporter of McCain and he seems to be very loyal (almost to a fault) to people he likes or people who have "been there for him."
He was the same way with Harold Ford. Nonstop, incessant talk about how awesome Harold Ford is (really? I didn't get that memo) during the 2004 election. When Harold lost, I thought Imus was going to need psychotherapy. Seriously. He was that upset. But since Harold never offered a word of support for Imus during his big scandal, I think Ford is off the Christmas list. The bloom is off the rose so to speak. Also, that huge asshole Sen. Pete Domenici from NM who was directly involved in the Attorney General firings. Imus really stuck up for him because Domenici had helped him with this NM charity ranch for kids with cancer so he felt he owed him support. Now, I disagree with that somewhat but it's hard to fault the guy for loyalty. I can and do fault him for alot of the assine and insensitive things he says, but he sticks by the people who have stuck by him so whatever.
I don't listen to Imus anymore since he's not on MSNBC although, truth be told, I'd much rather hear Imus' insane rants every morning that listen to 5 minutes of Joe Fucking Scarborough. :puke:

8. Thanks! Despite all the negative - I miss Imus - But it's |
|
probably a good thing he wasn't so big on TV anymore- being a McCain supporter. Although his comment to Kerry "i hope your man wins -- but I am voting for McCain."
