Hey there's absolutely nothing wrong with having a president that countries like.

1. I Doubt The World Thinks That Highly of Obama
Edited on Sat Nov-01-08 06:04 PM by Demeter
It's more likely they are voting AGAINST McCain, and the last 8 years of George Bush and the GOP (not that there's anything wrong with that!)

The NEXT election will show how the world thinks of Obama!

2. I respectfully disagree
I don't think 200,000 people went to see Obama speak in Berlin just because they don't like McCain. The French don't create songs about Obama and gondoliers in Venice don't create YouTube videos singing about an Obama win if they are more interested in McCain losing. When I went to Thailand last month, the first question people asked was where I was from. The second question was will Obama win.

The world knows that Bush is over. What excites them about Obama is exactly what excites us about Obama.

5. He seemed very popular when I was in Europe this past summer.

I saw practically as many Obama stickers in Berlin as I did in Chicago, and this was three weeks before his speech there.

3. Why would Iraq be leaning McCrypt?
They'd have to want to "lose" the war?

7. The World and the US Know Only As Much of Obama As We Can Garner in a Few Months
and nothing of him as President.

The idea of Obama is very attractive, and will see him to a conclusive election mandate.

It's what he does with it that will determine true opinion.

Remember what great hopes we had for Nancy Pelosi?
