I am calling VA voters and have tears in my eyes!
If you have not gone to Obama's website to sign up and call voters....PLEASE do! If you are stressed and worried, you will feel so much better! The responses are SO overwhelmingly positive and appreciative of what you are doing...And you are helping to build that GOTV list for Tuesday! :)

10. Not much luck canvassing.
No one home due to the good weather. Phone banking was more successful from what I heard.

2. I did calls last week for PA and the response was amazing.
Such a smart move on Obama's campaign to engage us the way that they did on numerous fronts.

You can choose from several states and do all your calling from your couch!

4. So true!
I was helping out earlier today here in Indiana and some of the stories are so wonderful and inspiring! Not to mention just the fact that SO MANY PEOPLE are working towards getting Senator Obama elected.

5. I had to take a rest today, due to working a lot last week, but...
will be working for Obama all day tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday. I can't do otherwise. There's no way in hell I'm going to sit around for the next 3 days and do nothing.

6. If you are mobile and have time, canvassing is great also.
It renews your faith in humanity, I swear! :-)

I have run into a few whackjobs who are still voting for McCain, but by and large I run into Obama supporters.

8. Do you get..
...a lot of wrong numbers, and leave more messages than you talk to people? Just wondering.

12. Good for you...and US!
I hosted a staging area today

26 people took 20 packets out. I didn't total up the number of doors knocked.

13. I wonder if I talked to you earlier!
I was in line voting at the time, and I let the person calling know that the line was long here in Fairfax County. I also let her know that there was a lot of young people, minorities and women with blue sheets of paper. (The blue sheets were being handed out in front of the polling place.) My wait was one hour and forty-five minutes by the way!

15. I called
New Mexico, North Carolina and Indiana today at the LA Farm phone bank.

We probably called 30,000 voters. I know I personally called >150. And I was not there all day. There were probably 100 + phone volunteers at peak.
