Just got back from carcassing in the rain in WA |
|
Just wanted to let everyone know there are undecided voters out there. I ran into many on our lists that had not made up their minds yet and said they would on Monday or Tuesday. I gave them literature and offered to answer any questions and given my state, I really pushed for support for our Governor Gregoire, who is in a tight race even though this state is safe for Obama.
Just go out and volunteer if you haven't yet. The fact that we were out in the ran talking to these people might be enough to change their views.

9. just got back from 6 hours of canvassing in new jersey |
|
and i'm glad to say that there are far more decided voters today than there were 5 weeks ago. i'm still pissed over the fact my obama yard side got snatched off my lawn thursday night. luckily one of the canvassing offices was lucky enough to give me a new one for my hard work.

15. working in wenatchee office sun & tues |
|
my days off. From last time 2004 the biggest difference is signs. Last time it was only Rossi signs but now there are as many Gregoire ones.
During the caucus we had hundreds show up in my small town for Obama and only 20 people showed up for the republican one.
This is big because I live in a more conservative area.

23. That is amazing my dad was born in Wenatchee |
|
He's a big republican and they see me as the black sheep of the family. Anyway, I have lots of family in Wenatchee and I'm so glad to hear what you said. I'll be thrilled to tell them over at the Gregoire offices on Monday.

18. Flowers in her hair, flowers everywhere; I love the flower girl . . . |
|
I saw her sitting in the rain Raindrops falling on her She didn't seem to care She sat there and smiled at me
And I knew (I knew, I knew, I knew, I knew) She could make me happy (happy, happy) Flowers in her hair, flowers everywhere
I love the flower girl Oh, I don't know just why She simply caught my eye I love the flower girl she seemed so sweet and kind. She crept into my mind.
I knew I had to say hello (hello, hello) She smiled up at me She took my hand and we walked through the park alone
But I knew (I knew, I knew, I knew, I knew) She had made me happy (happy, happy) Flowers in her hair, flowers everywhere

I think all my list was for Obama today - but 90% of them hadn't turned their damn ballot in yet.
You bet there's plenty of work still to be done.
