no, he was reporting it, not actually DOING it (david gregory & joe scarfboro maybe).
now shuster's doing an honest story on palin and mccain's judgement in choosing her.
i'm starting to like this shuster guy.

When he took on the PUMAs a few months ago it made me sit up and pay attention. He didn't just ask them about vague policies, he used numbers to prove they were smaller than they claim, discussed their conflicting statements about fundraising, and asked them pointedly about their donations to McCain in 2000 and their feelings on a more conservative supreme court.
In other words, he used actual FACTS and NUMBERS. Shocking. I've seen him do the same with McCain flacks. Skipping the conventional wisdom and using actual quotes.
If it was up to me he'd be filling the MTP chair.

5. He was mocking the shit out of a talking head for MCCain earlier about the |
|
complete misunderstanding of the first amendment by Palin....
I'm beginning to like him, too.
He was laughing at one of them a week or so about one of the bullshit talking points they were spreading...I think it was that idiot with the flattened head.....he was REALLY laughing....

6. Glad to hear it. The news is stacking up. |

Voter suppression file is getting thicker. I am so very glad to hear reporters discussing those problems this time. Glad more people are observing these anomalies this time. A lot was going on in 2004 but wasn't taken up as a category at that time. Now we realize how many different activities fit under that banner of voter suppression.
The long lines also suppress many votes. I'm not sure I could commit to eight hours in line, unless there were a bathroom break system instituted on site.
And Rachel Maddow likened the long lines to a kind of poll tax. Citizens pay by giving up a days wages in order to vote.
Glad people are compiling those stories and looking at them together. So surely more people will demand patience if anything needs clearing up.
But we can also proceed, once we have a decent enough majority this time, with our House and Senate victories secured.
Then study the minutiae of exact tallies later and establish a commission to review, analyze, and recommend corrections to our election systems, certainly including random auditing of all of them.
