So, what should Obama CHANGE the first day of his office?
Bush has made tons of screw ups and dangerous decisions over these last 8 years.

Since it's obvious by now that Obama is going to be President, my question is what should Obama fix first?

My choice is that he should reverse many of Bush's Executive Orders, like 13233, which basically gutted the Presidential Records Act of 1978. If this doesn't get changed, many of Bush's secrets might stay secret for ever.

Anyways, that's my choice, what's yours? Environmental? Iraq War? Civil Rights?

4. First, pardon Siegelman and Scrushy
I think there's someone in Mississippi in a similar situation.

Next, renounce torture by the US government, and close Guantanamo.

6. Excellent point - free those guys and clean house with Guantanamo.
It's definitely one of the worst things America has going on right now.

9. Remove the "gag order" on providing abortion information abroad.
And hopefully the Dems will get their asses together and codify this so it won't get changed every time we flip presidential parties.

11. He needs to fumigate and have the place "blessed", maybe by Rev. Wright...
hehehe...that would be fun. Too bad they're probably still pissed at each other....Maybe Al Sharpton could do it.

It would be great to watch the Freeper's hair-on-fire reaction...but of course I AM JUST KIDDING.

by himself. I can't imagine what it would be like to be Obama. Amazing.

16. The White House keyboards
The Bush administration is going to remove all the O's. Tradition and all.

At least with Clintonites removed the W's, it was a non-essential consonant (unless you want to ask a question - in which case w's are tough to avoid). O's are vowels - you just can't avoid them.

21. I don't know about change first, but he should definitely look at
all the last minutes things Bush has done/will do. Since he isn't done screwing up this country, these may be among the the worst.

22. Make a federal law to BAN these damn blue/red state maps from the networks
Given that the talking heads are having to change their maps every day (from red to pink to battleground white to blue) ANYway, they really just don't matter anymore.
