Who else is getting BOMBARDED with RW propaganda today?
Every other commercial on radio or TV is letting me know that Obama or Democrats in Congress will raise my taxes and give the money to lazy people. There is almost no response from Democrats except an occasional ad for the guy running for Congress in our district. I sure hope this scenario isn't playing out in all 50 states. We can still lose this, you know!

3. Yesterday, I saw on CNN an ad from "America Deserves Better" PAC
linking Obama to Hamas, Rev. Wright, etc.. Of course, this was on against a bunch of college football games, so I'm betting not too many people saw it.

And on edit, on the serious side, I have my two TVs on the NFL. Not ONE political ad from Obama or McTroll since 1:00. In Philadelphia. Hint, hint, SIGNIFICANT.

10. Today has been quiet, but...oy!...yesterday...
We had at least FIVE disgusting Repub robocalls, and received SEVEN pieces of equally, if not more, disgusting right-wing propaganda in the mail. Of course, the only time we had the TV on today was to watch the Obama rally downtown on C-Span. Had planned to go, but DH is having a tough day health-wise, so we sadly stayed home.

I do have to chuckle to myself at all the time and money the Repubs are spending on someone who voted a MONTH ago!!!

12. What I had were fundie youth group kids!!
I kid you not.I recognize these kids as the homeschooled religious conservatives in the neighborhood. No problem, they have a right to their school choice (I am the local public school principal, and it is a small town, so I know every kid).

These two boys were walking by me as I did yardwork, and I asked what they were handing out as I could clearly see they were leafleting. The boy mumble something about the local Repub. candidate for assembly, so I said, "No, thank you". In a few minutes I came around to the side of my house where the door is, and damn, there was the packet of info I saw them handing out. I was so mad! Then, I looked, and wrapped around the assemblyman bio, was a McCain-Palin brochure. This really got my dander up, so I got in my car and drove around town until I found some of these kids. I hopped out of the car and asked if they were also handing out flyers, as I could see the same items in the young girl's hand as I had in mine. She said, "Yeah, I'm one of them". So I told her I had already said "NO THANKS" and handed the flyers back to her.

I think it is unconsionable to have these young church kids, who quite frankly have no clue about the crap they are handing out, papering our town with this crap. This is Wisconsin, BTW, so it is a huge waste of their time. I can't imagine what kind of stuff they are being told about why they have to help 'save' us.

sorry, just a little rant there. I had to get that off my chest. I have already mailed two thick envelopes back to the Rep. Party of Wisconsin, asking them to recycle their toxic spew. I am not holding on to this stuff until spring when we can recycle toxic items.

13. Someone said the GOP was going to go all out on ads...
They are desperate and spending what little was left over from Failins wardrobe in one big weekend ad blitz!
Not to worry... just get out the vote! Think positive - know Obamas at the wheel and will take the WH! :bounce:
